Fragrances vs bad memories

Is there a fragrance that, when you smell it, instantly takes you back to a moment in your life you’d rather forget about? For me, it’s Bvlgari Aqva,

Not my own, but Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum immediately pops up for me. My ex girlfriend used to wear it as her signature. We did not end the relationship on good terms, to put it mildly.

Yes, but I've actually gotten over it. 

An ex of mine wore Bod Fresh Blue Musk, and one day about 5 years ago my husband came home with a bottle from Walmart. I *ALMOST* said something right then, but didn't (and I'm thankful I held my tongue) because he was excited about it. He said he used to wear it in highschool, and that it brought back good memories. 

But after years of him wearing it, I have more new positive memories about it than I do negative old ones. I've since told my husband about the ex, and we both think it's funny now 🤣

Warm Bulb by Clue Perfumery gives me a heavy feeling of sadness and it triggers a bad memory, but I'm not sure what it is. Lmaoooo
