Out of stock doesn’t mean discontinued?? 4

Why are fragrances that are not discontinued but rather may currently be out of stock being marked as discontinued? This continues to happen with Khadlaj Empire Victor, with the only source being an out of stock button.

When I have tried to note actual discontinued fragrances as such (KVD Saint and Sinner for example) none of my sources that clearly show it’s been out of production for YEARS are accepted.

Please provide guidance as is it frustrating trying to jump through hoops to prove discontinuation status when perfumes that aren’t discontinued get marked as such seemingly whenever someone feels like it.

@ssydlo  Your corrections were rejected because you did not change any availability, but wanted two versions to be created. The source was not sufficient for this. In addition, the fragrances in question are already set to discontinued.

Even though we are often accused of this, the team (made up of volunteers who sacrifice their private time for this!) does not work according to personal preferences.

In terms of availability, it is always a balancing act. As you can read in the guidelines, we consider a perfume to be discontinued when it is no longer produced, even if there is still stock on the market.
However, it is not always easy to prove this production. As brands often do not provide any information about this, we are often only left with the availability on the respective websites.

Since restocks are possible, everyone should therefore wait and not mmediately submit a correction every time it sells out, you're right, but unfortunately not everyone sticks to that. Users who can't wait are just as responsible as team members. This can only be improved by working together and not by making confusing accusations and assumptions.
