Proposal rejected as "already submitted" but not in database 1

Hi all,

I couldn't find a certain perfume on the website and figured, since it was relatively new, that it wasn't yet in the system. So I submitted a proposal to add it, using all the info I got from the manufacturer's website. The proposal was quickly rejected with the reason given that it was already submitted. However, I still don't see it on the website to add.

The scent in question was Noteworthy n,150. There are several Noteworthy scents already in the database, all of them have the similar n,(number) naming convention. The discussions on closed proposals are locked otherwise I'd bring up this issue there.

Is it possible that this scent has already been proposed and there's a process to adding it to the website before we can see it?

Or by any chance the similar naming convention for every Noteworthy perfume led to some confusion?

I'm a new user here, I'm fully prepared for the possibility that I missed some forum etiquette or website convention that I wasn't aware of, my apologies if so.

Thanks!

Yes, it most likely means that the scent has already been proposed and now they're just working on adding it to the website. It can take a good while at times until they get it done.

Yep, it is in process of being submitted, you can see the proposal here. Someone beat you to it! Make sure to check the “proposals” as well as “wait list” and “follow up” to make sure you are the first proposing the fragrance.

And now I see where I can search for proposals. Thanks all!
