In the rugged forest!
The fragrance arrived today, after 10 days of shipping from UK! The tension is rising, because it was a blind purchase! I'm a real fan of woody forest scents, as long as the name really applies to the fragrance and not, as unfortunately often happens, the name seems to be a complete misinterpretation of the actual scent. Here the ingredients seem to be right already.
So here we go. First of all, a disappointment: the packaging of the flacon is neither cellophaned nor sealed in any way. Although I bought directly from the manufacturer, this is a "no-go" at least for me, as it always leaves the impression of having been opened before!
The dark green bottle is, due to transport, cold as hell, but I still had to spray immediately... it would take too long for the fragrance to reach room temperature
The first gentle spray actually reveals a grassy green woody realistic scent! Pine and dark vetiver are clearly visible. Let's wait and see how the perfume develops on the skin...
Already after a relatively short time I notice a slight Maggi-like smell directly on my skin, but after some time this smell develops again to the better. In the drydown it gets much rounder and more pleasing, even traces of cedar, benzoin and a little bit of patchouli can be heard. Unfortunately, the scent is then already relatively close and the big "Aha" effect remains, at least for me, out.
Conclusion: Up to now the most realistic forest scent for me, but for me personally it is a bit too harsh with low durability and therefore only used occasionally. Maybe soon as a room spray for the living room, where the christmas tree is located...
