Vanilla Oud Vertus 2015

The perfect combo of rose-saffron-vanilla and oud.Opens with a very subtile tone of saffron and a very faded rhubarb.The middle supposedly has violets but the perfume is not at all powdery.The roșe îs very faded and I would Say that there îs some synthetic sugar which does not feel synthetic.The drydown belings to the name, Vanilla Oud and I may say, caramel and musk are very gențile without being sticky.Defenately leans manly but I wear it with a lot of pleasures. In the balance with Rosendo 7,I would choise Vertus due to sweetness while sillage and longevity are in beast mode.

I’m so disappointed by this one , I’m going to keep it short and very sweet . You’re interested in this fragrance just buy lattafa rhagba wood intense. Which both I find bad . I’m so shocked this Vertus gave the same vibe as that fragrance, it gives off this sweet hot piss smell. Don’t believe the hype on this one .

Adding complexity to a gourmand fragrance isn't easy. Maintaining that category and imbuing it with three-dimensionality and character is even more challenging.

This vanilla presents itself with diverse facets and a dense, far from transparent, base.

From the very beginning, the edible sweetness is present, with beautifully blended and difficult-to-distinguish floral notes, a fruity and acidic spark, and distinct saffron and rhubarb. I find a resemblance in the opening, though not too close, to YSL's Babycat.

It continues to explore that sweetness, not only with a vanilla profile. It's possible to detect caramel, with the illusion of it being burnt. Along with slightly smoky woody notes and a light, very Western oud, it brings to mind a sweet campfire roast, similar to Mashumaro by Unique'e Luxury, which I see as a more gourmand, less floral and woody alternative.

This fragrance stands out for its potency and projection, which are strong with just 2-3 sprays. It's ideal for evenings, particularly in cooler weather, and best suited for dates or elegant settings. It lasts up to 12 hours on my skin.

Its price and the variations it can exhibit depending on the wearer mean it's not a guaranteed blind buy, but I do encourage you to try it if the idea I've presented sounds tempting.

A classic rose-oud combination where the rose acts very subtly, refined with vanilla and generally sweet notes.

Does it fit? Yes!

The fragrance starts with saffron, subtle rhubarb, and the rose-oud combination.
After a relatively short time, sweet accords also come through directly. The vanilla sets in, as well as the caramel.
I really like that overall.
Unfortunately, I can't perceive the listed apple from the top note at all.

There isn't much more to say about this fragrance. Great scent developments are not really recognizable.
Is that bad? No.
It's good just the way it is.

The performance is also solid to really good.

Conclusion:
A great oriental that doesn't overdo the rose-oud combination and gets a great matching partner with the vanilla. Very harmoniously designed!
