Interesting Facts
The Caribbean island of St. Barthélemy is home to beautiful beaches, tropical flowers and fruits, and the roucou tree.... and the manufactory of the cosmetics brand Ligne St. Barth.
Face and body creams, oils, sunscreens and much more, as well as perfume, are produced exclusively in the company's own laboratory on St. Barthélemy and sent to the rest of the world. Ligne St. Barth is run by the Brin family, whose French ancestors settled on the island long ago. The Brins are very locally patriotic and invoke not only science and cutting-edge technology in their skin care products, but also ancestral traditions of the Caribbean natives. For example, the oil from the seed of the roucou tree has been used by Indians since time immemorial as protection against sun, heat, mosquitoes and salt water. Ligne St. Barth has signed an agreement with the last Caribbean Indian tribe for the preservation and use of Roucou and produces a sunscreen line exclusively with Roucou oil.
The fragrances of the perfume series are all committed to the Caribbean South Sea flair and composed of high-quality, natural substances.

While "Sublime Vanille | Creed" has the initially biting citrus and then the cool, slightly woody beauty of an androgynous archangel and "Goddess (Eau de Parfum) | Burberry" gives me the buxom beauty of the pretty...

Vanilla West Indies - what a surprise!
I only had two milliliters - not much really - and to be honest I put it aside for a while. Thought to myself: vanilla? Well, probably sweet again, heavy, maybe even cheesy. But then came this one moment,...
