Musky Cat Fur

Okay hear me out, if you have cats and they use plant fiber or wood pellet litter... this smells like the belly fur of my cats.

It's musky, woody, warm, humid, and just slightly animalic. It's like mornings I woke up with my cats snuggling with me under the blanket.

I love this scent so much! To my nose, it lasts for a couple of days when sprayed on clothes. However, the sillage is rather poor. I do get faint wafts of it throughout the day, I guess it's just how it is with such fully molecular fragrance.

However, as I mentioned earlier, though I love this smell, it does have that humid and animalic aspects. It's borderline sweaty/damp smell, reminds me of the smell of the inside of the laundry basket full of my worn slightly sweaty stinky t-shirts lol.

Because of that, I don't think I would want to wear this outside of my home. And when you put into account the price, for basically just a home/going-to-bed scent... I don't think it's worth it.

LOVE!

If I could I would bathe in this perfume. There is something that completely captivates me and the scent is like the most cozy hug you could experience. 100% will repurchase this over and over again. I get that the scent profile isn't for everyone and it could lean more masculine. For me, it is just smooth and unobtrusive, office friendly, all season and completely unisex.

Generic Blah

For a perfume touted to be "as singular as your genetic code," I found this somewhat generic.

This is an intentionally synthetic note blend, which I personally enjoy but recognize isn't for everyone.

On me though, this is straight akigalawood. I'm coming to the conclusion that akigalawood either overpowers other notes to my nose or simply reacts strongly to my skin chemistry. It also tends to lend a slight masculine lean to fragrances due to its savoury spiciness.

The strong opening softened after about 90 minutes, and the projection isn't nearly as strong as I expected after reading reviews (I prefer closer scents so this is a plus in my view). I occasionally got faint whiffs of georgywood but never picked up on any animalic notes or the creamy sandalwood finish that others have mentioned.

Overall, this is wearable but not special, and at this price point there are more inspired options available.

VERY Sandalwood

I put on 3 sprays on initially at around 10am, 1 on back of each hand and one in the air front of shirt, to see skin and cloth smell. Usual marker smell immediately off the bat, expected, but within 5 minutes the fragrance made sure everyone within 2 arms lengths of me knew I was wearing this stuff. I was told by a friend that was seated probably 10 feet from me that he could smell me. From other sandalwood smells I've smelt, this one is POWERFUL. It really stays too. I could still be smelt at an arms length 12 hours later from my cloths, skin had about lost its smell. Sandalwood to me is this deep, sharp, spicy wood smell I imagine crimson smelling like as a wood. For sure a big time woody fragrance, but I do find sandalwood generic. This scent remains essentially entirely unchanged throughout its lifetime. It feels a little basic, but my gosh is it powerful. I could see it as offensive to some people, you definitely have to be confident and ready to speak if someone asks you about it, cause they know you are wearing it. I'm just not a huge fan of sandalwood, and this makes me smell like i was birthed by a sandalwood tree, and I cut it for a living.
