The meaning of the number sequence 27 87 in the unisex perfume brand 27 87 Perfumes, founded in Barcelona in 2016 by Romy Kowalewski, is reflected in the two available bottle sizes offered by the brand. The Spanish fragrance house offers its scents in 27 and 87 ml sizes; both of them rather unusual sizes in Europe and a deliberate part of the brand identity.
Kowalewski describes the brand concept in her own words as follows: “Each fragrance is designed to evoke an emotional response and serve as a wearable statement of individuality.” The simple, monochrome design of the bottles is intended to draw attention to the essential – the fragrance.
The 2018 fragrance Genetic Bliss by Jordi Fernández stands out from the series of white bottles; the deep black offspring invites its wearer to combine their own skin chemistry – their individual scent – with the molecular fragrance, thereby enhancing it.
