Fleeting Peach, Stay a Little Longer
2020 Parfum Silje Norendal A.N Other, the scent belongs to the fruity / floral family.
A.N.OTHER is a new fragrance brand that has been on the market since 2017.
A.N.OTHER is a literary term. The name of a placeholder for a person whose identity is not yet known.
The company strategy is quite straightforward and simple:
six fragrance categories. Six perfumers. Six scents. Pure fragrances without names, moods, gender, vanity, and overpriced price tags.
Brands spend a lot of money on marketing and gimmicks, leaving only a small budget for the product itself. A.N.OTHER wants to reduce everything they do to the essentials.
Spending less on nonsense means more budget for extraordinary ingredients.
Still somewhat comparable to skincare, new brands seem to emerge daily. Let's see who is still around in 10 years. SN/2020 Silje Norendal has been available since 2017.
The names of the fragrances are indeed strange here:
FL/18 and FR/18? 18 for 2018?
Then SN/2020. Why not SN/20 to stay true to the logic?
Peach / Clementine combo on tuberose and orchid. Rather feminine.
Velvety peach with splashes of clementines rounded off with woody musk. Osmanthus, orchid, and tuberose provide the sweetness; the juicy part could have been more intense.
Thus, the scent remains floral warm on my skin.
SN/2020 was created in collaboration with two-time Olympian and four-time X-Games gold medalist Silje Norendal and represents an ode to the wild osmanthus blossom.
I love well-crafted peach fragrances very much, but unfortunately, there are hardly any that don’t smell synthetic. Here, the peach is very well done, but unfortunately very short-lived. Fresh and in a good mood, a daytime scent for warmer temperatures. I don't smell marine notes; osmanthus is very prominent, more peach would be great. A floral - white flowers - with a fruity touch.
Very feminine. Similar to Gardenia by Chanel.
