Fleeting peach, stay longer
2020 Perfume Silje Norendal A.N Other, the fragrance belongs to the fruity / floral family.
A.N.OTHER is a new fragrance brand that has been on the market since 2017.
A. N. OTHER is a literary term. The name of a placeholder for a person whose identity is not yet known.
The company strategy is quite straightforward and simple:
six fragrance categories. Six perfumers. Six fragrances. Pure fragrances without names, mood, gender, vanity and overpriced price tags.
Brands spend a lot of money on marketing and gimmicks, leaving only a small budget for the product itself. A. N. OTHER wants to reduce everything they do to the bare essentials.
Spending less on nonsense means more budget for exceptional ingredients.
Still, it's a bit like skincare, there are new brands every day. Let's see who will still be around in 10 years' time. SN/2020 Silje Norendal has been available since 2017.
The names of the fragrances are indeed strange here:
FL/18 and FR/18? 18 for 2018?
Then SN/2020. Why not SN/20 to stay true to the logic? Peach / clementine combo on tuberose and orchid. Rather feminine.
Velvety peach with speckles of clementine rounded off with woody musk. Osmanthus, orchid and tuberose provide the sweetness, the juicy part could have been more intense.
The fragrance remains warm and floral on my skin.
SN/2020 was created in collaboration with two-time Olympian and four-time X Games gold medalist Silje Norendal and is an ode to the wild osmanthus blossom.
I really love well-made peach fragrances, but unfortunately there are hardly any that don't smell synthetic. Here, the peach is very successful, but unfortunately very short-lived. Fresh and upbeat, a daytime fragrance for warmer temperatures. I don't smell any marine notes, osmanthus is very prominent, more peach would be great. A floral - white flowers - with a fruity touch.
Very feminine. Similar to Gardenia by Chanel.
