...something really nice...
I'll be honest: this turmeric trend is getting on my nerves.... Moreover, turmeric is in no way the grail for which it is so highly praised.
And actually I don't support such hypes that overpriced such trends.
Only here I became curious : Turmeric (so turmeric) latte, but completely without turmeric? With only 3 fragrance components? Without any spice notes woe cardamon, ginger, clove (the typical spices of a turmeric latte)?

I weakened, and yes, I was rewarded.

The scent does smell like a turmeric latte: warm, spicy, vanilla, even a hint of coffee I can smell.

However #Lush has managed this: the fragrance is ne stunner, the durability enormous. A fragrance that creates it, that you want to sniff constantly on your wrist. The body spray smells exactly the same, the shelf life is slightly lower (but at least 5h).

Burnt speculoos topped with salami
I bought the water blind (mistake).
The opening: I smell a pungent smoky note, an association with over-seasoned smoked products comes to mind and in my mind's eye I can see my father's sausage kitchen and the sausages hanging on a wooden pole, which were placed there to be smoked to my liking.

In the drydown: Nothing changes for the first 2 hours. Sausage kitchen deluxe. Nothing more.

After 3 hours: Tonka bean, vanilla or even cinnamon try to make an appearance somehow, even a shy clove knocks bashfully on the Tumaric door but: Nothing to do, the incense spice blend displaces everything that is not nailed down and insists on its superficial, penetrating and all-slaying brutal presence until the bitter end. At the end, it smells a bit like a burnt speculaas cookie on my skin that has been topped with a slice of salami.

The fragrance is nothing for me, it won't make it into my collection.

Smoky gingerbread
The rich dark color of the fragrance already shows what is to come. Beautiful dark, very smoky vanilla/tonka. Not all the time, but every now and then this scent of gingerbread comes by. Therefore a perfect winter candidate for me. Shelf life is also satisfactory. On my skin, the fragrance develops almost a touch too smoky and spicy. Which makes it seem a bit masculine to me. But I think I will be able to make good use of this smokiness for layering.

The spiciest cookie in the world
Now that the sub-zero temperatures have set in outside and the first people are putting up their Christmas lights, it's finally time to get Turmeric Latte off the shelf again, spray it on a daily basis and let this fragrance cuddle you up. Because I admit, there aren't many times of the year when I enjoy wearing it as much as I do now.
For me, it's a very typical, heavy, sweet and dark winter fragrance with real oomph, so I never need more than two sprays to enjoy it for a long time. The fragrance is also quite linear and doesn't show much development.

The fragrance reminds me a lot of the spicy ginger cookies you get at Ikea, only with more smoke, resinousness (which is particularly prevalent in the opening) and spice. There is tonka in it, but not a marzipan-like tonka bean, but one that tends towards espresso bean. I can even smell something slightly burnt. And of course the spicy vanilla that envelops and rounds everything off.

Conclusion: definitely not a run-of-the-mill fragrance and by Lush standards it's a real winner!

sweet spicy
I love , love, love this fragrance. It's sweet but not disturbing, spicy but not too much and I love that turmeric note that never leaves my skin.
Also this perfume is so natural made that you can smell the essential oils in it.
For me a very addictive scent , so , Mr. Lush : why not to put it in permanent line ? Pleaseee, I am finishing yet..
Only negative side : on me this wonder gem got no evolution but this is not a real problem for me

It starts heavy, with sweet tobacco leaves. Then it calms down and the wonderful vanilla enters. Lush continues to amaze me.
