Little oud - lots of joy
I bought the fragrance after I already liked the Oud 3007 very much. As I like the concept of the Austrian brand, I was looking for a fragrance from Acqua Alpes for the cooler months. At first I was a little skeptical about the fragrance notes. Iris and vetiver, both not necessarily my favorite notes. I therefore ordered a 2ml fragrance sample with the bottle. After a few days, the sample was used up and I didn't hesitate to tear open the OVP.
To me, it smells like a thin silk scarf has been laid over a sweet woody spice blend, which has been refined with a few iris flowers. However, I thought the whole thing sounded very familiar. In my opinion, it's a fresher brighter alternative to the popular Oud Wood Eau de Parfum .
But unlike the TF, you don't have to be satisfied with 3 hours H/S here. On my skin it easily lasts 7-9 hours with a good projection for the first 3-4 hours. That's already above average by my standards.
I also have absolutely nothing to complain about in terms of price. The bottle and packaging are not necessarily of high quality, but I have to say that the atomizer is absolutely great. All in all, an absolute recommendation to buy!
