Essenza di un'Isola - Altrove Acqua dell'Elba 2016

A place of the banishment is Elba for a long time no longer; rather one moans also there now and then over the tourist streams and so some would wish themselves perhaps even Napoleon and his entourage back.

Now only a few spritzes of "Altrove" entice you to pack your travel bag and disappear very quickly in the direction of Elba.

This very different fragrance from the series "Essenza di un'Isola" of the brand Acqua dell'Elba takes me immediately sheltering in his wide-open arms; how could it be otherwise with these ingredients.

And yet:
I, with my increasingly pronounced respiratory sensitivity, must approach the sympathetic beauty of "Altrove" extremely mindful.
Carries this fragrance but the powdery and powerful beauty of the flower of Tuscany, the iris, in his escutcheon and thus in the aforementioned embrace.
In the interplay with spicy tobacco and soft leather thus arises a medium-strong for me, already slightly opaque veil of fragrance, which is made by cypress and juniper in places a little finer, more transparent:
These two are, so to speak, "destroyers" of the fragrance density and allow me through their presence an easier access to this composition; they provide clear moments in the prelude.
Underlining them, rich, ripe white jasmine blossom bundles and rose bundles radiate their summery warmed-through sensuality.
To stay with my example, they dance their own veil dance, weaving their clear floral aromas with those of the yet quite powdery entré.
The ripeness of the strawberry berries adds fruity aroma of sunlit apricots and melons and thus still some scent knots in the powdery veil of tissue, before this interesting composition is again condensed by smoky resins and woods, whereby tobacco and leather with their weaver shuttles once again look more strongly around the corner and mix in.

"Altrove" is a very special Mediterranean creation for all who like powdery fragrances and can also wear.
As interesting as I find this detour to the island of Elba, so for me the name is program "Elsewhere I want to be".
Proves yet again that clear, albeit opulent and radiant, sometimes even slightly overloaded fragrances are for me the better company.
For all its charm, "Altrove" resembles for me a walk in the fragrance mist, always on the way from one light and air hole to another, but this does not change my positive assessment. Do I know for a long time that I can not wear everything and be it still so beautiful.
