It all started with him
I remember it very clearly. I was just fifteen years old and would go to a Rossmann or HIT next to school every day before class, applying one of those cheap fragrances alternately. One day, it was the Adidas Fresh Impact. I immediately noticed that there was something different about this scent. This citrusy aquatic and almost cucumber-like freshness captivated me throughout that school day. I knew I had to own it myself. I organized some pocket money and walked to a local Rossmann, where I found the fragrance priced at about 15 euros for 100 ml. After purchasing it, I became the proud owner of my first fragrance and was head over heels in love with it. I possessed something that I would wish to have back today, namely satisfaction. I had neither the desire for variety nor did I feel boredom the longer I wore the scent. Its sporty, masculine fresh-out-of-the-shower aura surrounded and captivated me, and I was obsessed. I carried it in my pants and sprayed it on repeatedly until my obsession reached its unfortunate peak. During the Pentecost holidays, I was tutoring in math. A classmate, whom I was tutoring, was my crush, and of course, I did a lot throughout the school year to make a positive impression on her. And that included my scent. For a man, there is hardly a nicer compliment than smelling good. So I overdid it with the spray before the lesson. My shirt was literally soaked with this fragrance, and I couldn't stop. I couldn't hold back and even sprayed again while she was getting a glass of water or going to the bathroom. She came back, and we continued with the tutoring, and suddenly my perfume fell out of my pocket onto the floor, where our backsides had once sat on an uncomfortable wooden chair. The bottle slid into one corner under the table, the cap into the other corner. Oh man, EMBARRASSING! Now you've really revealed your mysterious, secret weapon that you've been working on with this girl for days. I think these are the kinds of stressful situations that people refer to as a reason for starting to smoke. However, I immediately forgot that embarrassing moment when I saw her smile in response to my clumsiness.
