Little man very big!

Adolfo Dominguez, born in 1950, is one of the most famous and popular Spanish fashion designers. His fashion is extremely feminine and is loved by Spanish women as well as many celebrities outside of Spain.

Through his work in the 80s for Miami Vice (he created and produced various costumes for the series), he also achieved a very special level of fame in the USA.

He is married and has three daughters, all of whom work in his fashion empire.

Even if Adolfo Dominguez is not the tallest in terms of stature, when it comes to fashion from Spain he definitely is! However, he is very modest and avoids publicity. I also think he has the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen on a fashion designer.

Ramón Monegal, the descendant of the Myrurgia perfumery, is still the responsible perfumer for his fragrances, which were originally all created and manufactured at Myrurgia and are now produced at PUIG.

It all started with the fragrance Adolfo Dominguez, which was initially created just for the designer and which he liked so much that it led to a long-standing friendship with the house of Monegal, which continues to this day and has produced many fragrances, including very successful ones. Although various fragrances have disappeared from the market, new creations continue to enrich the palette - most recently Viaje a Ceylán in a masculine and a feminine version.

Nevertheless, it is unfortunate that a fragrance like Adolfo Dominguez is no longer available today or is only available as a rarity. For me, a man has to smell just like this EdT. The start is already convincing with its herbaceous, spicy fruit note - although I wouldn't have thought of pineapple.

The heart note is wonderfully woody and spicy, dry but not powdery and very soft. Geranium and orange blossom give the composition a very reserved and delicate floral quality, but the spices prevent it from drifting into cuteness. The mint, which flashes briefly every now and then, gives a natural freshness.

Adolfo Dominguez is a fragrance for the man who's standing with both feet on the ground, who is fully aware of himself and what he is doing and who knows exactly what he wants.

This is also how the base appears - serious and very masculine, woody. Ambergris and musk give the fragrance a very reserved, erotic note, but neither of them pushes themselves into the foreground.

After owning a mini of this fragrance for a long time, I was able to purchase 100 ml of the EdT from a Spanish retailer and add it to my collection as a very special highlight.

Nevertheless, I think it would be nice if this fragrance were reissued, because such a fragrance should still find many lovers today.
