Milky Vanilla
I'm continuing my discovery of Adopt' fragrances, with a mix of pleasant and less pleasant surprises.
This new Terre de Vanille is clearly one of the good ones. First of all, it has to be said, longevity and sillage are excellent (which isn’t always the case with this brand). Even my husband told me the scent was filling the whole room and that I was leaving a vanilla sillage everywhere I went.
Now, as for the scent itself: I love it! It’s a creamy vanilla fragrance, milky even, and not too sweet at all. I barely get any almond, except right at the spray, but it disappears almost immediately. There’s also a faint hint of spice in the background, but that too stays very subtle, as the milky vanilla takes over everything.
Considering the very low price and the excellent performance, I plan to keep buying this one rather than spending a fortune on niche vanilla/milky fragrances that cost an arm and a leg. It should appeal to vanilla lovers, and even more so to fans of milky scents.
