Lemon tart fresh from the oven
One of my all time favorite fragrances. Bake’s progression follows the notes almost exactly as written with the exception of the rum top note. On my skin, it’s just straight, incredibly realistic lemon. There’s a creaminess in the background that lasts as the scent dries down to a nice, lightly citrus-y vanilla. It’s Devotion’s more strictly gourmand sister (unsurprising considering they’re both from Olivier Cresp). Not a floral or powdery note to be found which is exactly what I wanted. Pretty good longevity and sillage.
