No added sugar
We all know this: A fragrance is simply set and nobody knows why. Completely incomprehensible. That is definitely not the case here. Who smells Shōgun for the first time, understands why that became no success.
It's fresh and green here. Basil and tomato leaves evoke light kitchen associations. A bit of citrus resonates in the background and from the start also a very bitter note, which must be this Asian calamus. That's very unusual, but somehow already creative again and interesting in any case. As a die-hard perfume, you're almost eager to get something different in front of you. But as soon as a light floweriness and the spice of the cinnamon are added, it becomes a bit confusing. Even for me. Too bitter, too experimental and free of any sweetness. Really? That doesn't work!
Unless you put all the ingredients in a mixer and make a smoothie out of it. Or even better, an organic limo, of course without added sugar. It's not tasty either, but it sells anyway. Crazy. Somewhere between Bionade and Club-Mate, in the vegan age of Chia seeds, an ethical niche might open up. Power food and wellness and stuff. Save the Shōgun! Where can I go to the online petition?
