Musk and spices to the tenth power
Take Musc Ravageur, remove the vanilla, amp up the musk and the spices and add some anise in the mix. Not an easy one but definitely worth trying out if you are into this kind of semi dirty spicy fragrances.

Meh. Its okay.
I wouldn't call this sexy or addictive. It's spicey fresh, more so spicey. Wakes you up a bit. Wouldn't call this a pineapple forward scent. Mainly cloves, soft citrus, cardamom and tabbaco. It's really just a safe, strong scent for people that want to radiate a spicey citrus blast. I can't imagine a place to wear this. Smells alot like blend oud gold oud. Overall. Blend oud has more depth and complexity. This is a bit safer on the nose and spicier.

Olfactory Aventure
I love spice notes in fragrances. Fougere fragrances have started to attract me a lot especially in recent years, I guess I'm getting old (: I made a blind buy of this perfume just by looking at the notes and now I am quite surprised. I was expecting a bold, another pungent spicy perfume, similar to many, but it turned out to be completely different. It's warm, fresh, woody, and clean at the same time. Honestly, it's unlike anything I've ever smelled before.

The opening starts with a blend that reminds me of green tobacco leaf and fresh spices. Make no mistake, this is not a tobacco fragrance. You can feel the freshness coming from the pineapple. After about 2-3 hours, around the middle, anise starts to show itself and I feel a little clove. Then the dry spices show up with hint of sweetness. In drydown, it turns into a soapy, clean scent but not the always!

The interesting story starts here, it feels like a different perfume every time I wear it. The opening is the same, but after it dries, sometimes it's musky, sometimes it's sweet, sometimes it's the inky feel of oakmoss and woody cedar. Maybe it has something to do with my mood at that moment. I have a hard time explaining it and I realized that whenever I really like a fragrance, I can't find anything to talk about it. I just focus on the feeling it leaves on me. And I call this pure art. It's complex and it surprises me every time. Every time before I wore it, I ask myself what it will smell like today.

It's a fragrance worthy of its name. I understand why they were influenced by Grand Bazaar from Istanbul. Wearing this perfume makes me feel like I'm wandering through a labyrinth.I absolutely love it and I'm a bit obsessed right now, I must admit.

Performance is very good, nice scent bubble with 10+ hrs. Unisex. If you're into fougere fragrances definitely recommended to try.

Adventure in the Spice Labyrinth
Truly a "Labyrinth of Spices"! I try to identify the spices, but my nose gets different impressions every 5 minutes. Which direction should I go? Cinnamon pulls to the left. I run through the labyrinth and am euphorically cheerful. I take one turn after another. Nutmeg barges in and drags me into a new alley. Where do we want to go? What is the goal? The euphoria fades. I am confused. My head is buzzing. Damn! Suddenly cardamom appears and approaches me calmly. He lovingly takes my hand and guides me through the entire labyrinth until we reach the end. Waiting for us is a large piece of dry wood that has already been spread with oak moss. Where are the treasures? Was it really worth it? For me, it’s like with many good adventures: The journey is the destination!

Scent:
At first, I perceive the resinous galbanum and a slight acidity the strongest. Does the acidity come from the pineapple? I can't identify it clearly here, as it is definitely not loud canned pineapple. Mocha can be sensed. Additionally, I find the top note to be peppery, even though it is not listed. After a few minutes, I try to find a way through the spice labyrinth. Let's proceed by elimination. I don’t smell lavender or anything floral-herbaceous at all so far. Cinnamon is present, but not as dominant as in Angels Share or Khamrah. Cardamom comes through the strongest by far! The rest of the spices blend in very well. The composition already brings some sweetness, which, however, feels "muted" to me. It doesn’t hit you in the face, but it is noticeable. The sweet spice bomb settles quite "powdery" on my skin. In the way one knows from some tonka scents. The whole thing develops into a nice, dry direction. Visually, it would be for me a piece of dry wood buried in a pile of spices and sprinkled with a bit of sugar. Unfortunately, after an hour, the oak moss comes through, which does not positively affect the overall composition for my nose. Who threw their weeds on the spice pile? I wondered which scents I would compare "Labyrinth of Spices" to. I can’t think of a direct relative. However, the intensity of the cardamom reminds me of the cardamom from "Khamrah Qhawah". I also perceive the scent direction as similar. "Labyrinth of Spices" smells less sweet, but more complex and valuable. I’ll just ignore the late drydown at this point.

When? Where? Who? Here, the "who" is probably of primary importance. It is not a pleasing scent, but an oriental spice bomb. You have to like that! I would even go so far as to say that even if one generally likes the scent direction, one must specifically desire this fragrance. It is loud, has sillage... the bomb hits, and without regard for losses - or in my case - headaches. There is no note that I dislike, and according to my personal taste, I find the scent "beautiful." Nevertheless, it would be too intense for my head on many days to navigate through this labyrinth. Tending to fit best for me, the average perfume wearer, in the pre-Christmas season. Walking through a Christmas market with this scent in icy cold would surely be nice. But lovers of orientals often don’t stick to that... I see the spice bomb as belonging to no specific gender - until the oak moss sets in. After several hours, the scent tends to come off as masculine for my taste.

Conclusion:
I would need to be very eager for this adventure. The transition from top to heart note is really beautiful, but also very intense in longevity and sillage. On some days, this composition would therefore be a pretty sure candidate for a headache for me. I would prefer to forgo the late drydown. Overall, "Labyrinth of Spices" is a well-executed oriental spice bomb, but not quite to my taste.

In the True Souk
As someone who has traveled a lot - I especially enjoy when a fragrance manages to transport me to another place.

This was the case with Labyrinth of Spices. Transported to the souk/bazaar in Istanbul where one treats themselves to a Turkish mocha after a bit of browsing.

A mega realistic mocha coffee scent with a blend of spices that lasts forever. Another hit for me from Alghabra.

In this labyrinth, you'd better not get lost -- once through the woody spice shelf, somehow green yet still lost.

Reminds me of certain spice stalls in Turkish markets. Familiar spices blend with spicy tea powders; very aromatic.

Too much of a good thing. Cardamom, cedar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In theory, it sounds nice, but after 5 minutes, it’s just too much. H+S super.

Fine spice soap as the main player. Initially seems a bit matte green, but soon takes on a fruity-woody character with clove sharpness and a chypre twist.

Name says it all, an oriental bazaar with spice and soap stalls. Becomes drier and more austere over time. For me, the best in the line..*

A gourmand like no other! Tom Yum soup in a spray ;) even though it smells like completely different ingredients and spices, it's strikingly similar.

The name Spicebomb fits better than the scent from V&R. The spicy-fresh, slightly biting fragrance becomes round + warm through cinnamon => beautiful.

Dry wood buried under spices, sprinkled with sugar. Cardamom-heavy oriental spice bomb. What's with the oak moss?

Enchanting
This spice bomb with fruity pineapple, plus the earthy notes, it has everything and definitely not TOO much.
