Lavender overthrows iris
The iris, also known as the iris, was used as a coat of arms by some royal houses in earlier times. The French monarchy in particular adorned itself with the symbol of the "fleur-de-lys". It stands to reason that the perfume with the name "King of Flowers" alludes to the iris it contains. But is this really reflected in the fragrance?
For me, the scenario looks more like this: Iris was supposed to succeed to the throne, but was overthrown by lavender, which now reigns very dominantly.
Fragrance:
At first, my nose is filled with a tantalizing sweetness that seems almost caramel-like. A few seconds later, this sweetness turns into a resinous scent. A beautiful, warm and distinct amber comes through. This is followed by something floral, which quickly turns herbaceous. Without paying attention to the fragrance notes, lavender actually came to mind. If you know it, you can smell it quite strongly. It's a beautiful lavender that is neither too masculine nor too soapy. On the other hand, I don't really notice any typical iris powder. There are no very strong changes over the course of the fragrance, which means that I find it very beautiful the whole time. Nevertheless, I try to note the small changes: Over time, the fragrance caresses the skin more and more. It becomes even warmer, deeper and a little woodier. The floral, herbaceous notes gradually recede. After a few hours, you could say that the fragrance is a little powdery. However, it is a dry, warm kind that could also come from the wood or the amber. Overall, for me it is a very nice amber fragrance with a lavender note.
When? Where? Who?
With this creation, you will definitely be the king or queen of any event. A unisex fragrance that is particularly suitable for elegant evening events. It is pleasant, but nonetheless special and elegant. As the fragrance has a very warming facet, I find it more suitable for cooler months.
Conclusion:
according to forum posts, "King of Flowers" seems to be Alghabra's best creation for many people. It also suits my taste very well. Great fragrance with top quality, durability and sillage!
