Fresh floral fragrance in the wrong guise
What a funny mix-up. First lilac, then rose. The fragrance was just about to mutate into a fabric softener, but then caramel comes around the corner. So can the cupcake become a gourmand after all? There are repeated flashes of ozonic notes that completely prevent this from happening. The little cupcake is rather fresh than sweet. Actually a sin on the palate, olfactory patchouli appears here. As I'm not a big patch fan, I view this with some suspicion. It's not even the chocolaty version, but rather the earthy one. So the bottle design is a real mess. Not only is it a visual disaster, it also creates completely false expectations. Gourmand girls like me are disappointed and the fresh florals among us may miss out.
