Carnation Light
Since I have now written a comment about the violet scent "Fialka" from the company Alpa and at the same time ordered and tried the carnation, I don't want to let this fragrance simply fall by the wayside.
In fact, I like it even better than the violet scent.
"Karafiát" is a nice garden carnation floral scent that leans slightly towards the more robust side but remains soft, making it certainly suitable for women as well, thus more of a "unisex fragrance." There isn't much to say about the scent; it is somewhat trivial, a soliflore, and has absolutely nothing disturbing about it if you like the scent of carnations.
However, it is not comparable to carnation scents like, for example, Eau de Cologne 1920: Oeillet by Jardin de France. Or for that matter, Carnation by Parfum-Individual Harry Lehmann. Both are also affordable carnation fragrances.
But since the 50ml bottle from Alpa costs just over €5 online including shipping, it's a very inexpensive way to test whether you like the garden carnation as a fragrance.
