What black has got to do with this? Follow me...

GeoBlack attracted me due to the gourmand accord of coffee and caramel in there, and this morning I decided to give it a try. Albeit it is late spring here in Italy, the temperature is still fresh and lower than 20 °C. Thus I thought it was perfect for a day like this.

It opens with a crispy pineapple, just for very few instants, and then the aromatic thyme starts spreading its herbal aroma very smoothly. I did not get any cinnamon at all.

One might think what black has got to do with this? And suddenly the answer comes. A blast of strong bitter and black licorice pops out of the sent, wisely mashed-up with a bit of lavender wrapped by a smooth green cardamon. This pleasant mix lasts for almost one hour, and then a new black thing is just around the corner.

A delightful black coffee beans aroma, sweetened with caramel from brown sugar, starts surrounding your body and maybe the aura around you. That creamy sensation harmonizes with the velvety of the cedar and the earthy of the white musk, which completes this beautiful fluid for a long, long time.

What a surprise! I am pleased about how GeoBlack combines and reacts with my skin. It is non-linear, which is a quality I appreciate in a perfume. The sillage is good, though not overpowering, making this scent ideal for the office. The longevity is above average, on my skin, it lasted over 10 hours. According to my flavors, I think it gives its best if worn during autumn and wet spring days.

Methinks an all-purpose fragrance, but sporty, for day and night. I happen to love it!
Next time I will try its sibling GeoWhite, allegedly more fresh and citrus, let's see.
