The Golden Egg
After I stumbled upon a Sashka (Green) like a virgin finding a child, I found not much information about this series from the Micallef kitchen on the internet. The other fragrances in this line are also like phantoms, partly still available in the Orient or the USA, and surprisingly affordable for Micallef products.
Madame White Flower gifted me a sample from the golden egg. After reading her opinion now, after the test, I can only agree with her that Sashka Gold is a unisex cuddler, and not from bad parents.
However, the notes are quite turned upside down for me.
Gold begins with a super floral note; I immediately thought of lilac and lily of the valley. Only after that does the fragrance become sweeter and almost powdery, a light coconut note can be discovered, along with cozy cleanliness and a bit of sensual jasmine.
Only after hours does a spicy note join in, allowing the fragrance to finish with a spicy and slightly musky soapiness.
Very nice, everyday suitable scent for her and him.

Is this really a feminine fragrance?
Well, if a so-called "cuddle fragrance" can be worn by both genders, then THIS one here!

The terracotta-colored packaging with the copper-colored, egg-shaped bottle suggests something sweet and somewhat substantial. However, the surprise is perfect as soon as the first spray hits the skin. For a slightly sweet yet intense peach liqueur-alcohol cloud follows a completely unsweet, even green-spicy-minty opening.

Wow, what a greeting of a completely different kind!

It does become a bit cozy once the flowers contribute to this green mood, and although the lily of the valley tries to keep the freshness flag flying, Ylang-Ylang insists that it must be soft and round here.
However, it only succeeds with some persuasion, as the rose and jasmine enjoy the fresh top note, which surprisingly lasts a very long time, almost merging with the heart note, and initially supports the lily of the valley.

At some point, however, Ylang-Ylang achieves its goal and it becomes soft, warm, cuddly, a tiny bit sweet, really just a hint.

The fragrance has a good sillage, as it can still be perceived from 2 meters away, and the longevity is also okay.

It's astonishing that such an interesting fragrance from such a renowned house is not better known for such a sensationally low price.
Sashka Gold has several siblings: Sashka Femme, Sashka Homme (or Sashka Black), Sashka Sun, and Sashka Green, all of which fall more or less into the same category. They are also very affordable, but unfortunately not better known than Sashka Gold.

The Sashka fragrance line seems to have been discontinued in the meantime, but there are still sufficient stocks available, so these fragrances should still be available for some time. Due to the production discontinuation, they are now being offered in Germany for almost 100 euros on the bay, but a look at the other European sites of the bay or the American site is enough, as they can be found there for about one-fifth of that price.

For me, this was once again a very pleasant blind purchase, which was also a real bargain.
