Memoir Man Amouage 2010

I spent a long time thinking about what I could write about the fragrance. The fragrance has been on the market for a while and there are many opinions about it. First of all, I would like to say that I love Memoir Man, but I never knew when to wear it and on what occasions. Yesterday I wore Memoir Man during a long car ride and thought about it. It's actually a selfish fragrance that doesn't bother anyone because it's not loud and doesn't offend. However, you won't notice it completely unless someone is sniffing directly at your neck. Intimately, it sits on the skin and starts with mint and basil. I don't perceive anise so strongly, it's virtually alcohol-free. The sillage is not particularly intrusive. The heart note consists of dazzlingly soft incense. The base is really good, this part of the story is worth waiting for. My favorite part is the drydown, where a wonderful vetiver unfolds. The tobacco is unique with light vanilla, musk and oakmoss. Unfortunately, almost no one notices it. The fragrance is very close to the skin. For me, I perceive the scent as somehow expensive, elegant, very serious...The fragrance lasts about 7 hours on my skin. It is definitely not a blind buy candidate!!!
