This is a fragrance that you wouldn't necessarily expect from maestro Alessandro Gualtieri. Most of the perfumes from this brand are very controversial, but Viride is extremely pleasant and pleasing. Beforehand, I would like to point out that my review will be very subjective as I am a fan of the Orto Parisi and Nasomatto brands and have tested and have many of their fragrances in my collection.

The name Viride says it all here, the scent is green through and through, reminiscent of a damp forest with beautiful spruce and cedar, and someone has even lit a bonfire in the distance (slightly smoky) I would classify the scent as a fougere and perceive a pleasant floral. The lavender in this fragrance is exceptionally beautiful and lends a gentle freshness. I also maintain that Gualtieri has added a small pinch of oud, which gives the perfume a certain depth. I'm not sure if tobacco plays a role, but as the fragrance progresses, I perceive something similar to tobacco.

Viride develops floral and powdery. In the drydown, only musk and woods remain. The composition is not sweet for me. Who is this fragrance made for? For someone who doesn't want to make a flashy statement with their perfume, but who goes through life with confidence and knows exactly what matters."

"This is a fragrance with alcoholic accords and smooth whisky from the barrel! The rosé note resonates in the background with a certain oudiness and dry fruits. Baraonda is loud and polarizing; you feel a certain warmth, something like warm chocolate. The oil is a little softer than the normal perfume. Absolutely unisex and wearable for everyone! I think Baraonda translates as hustle and bustle, and that's exactly the vibe you get when you wear the fragrance - you want to go to a party with people, maybe to a bar or a private event, just be sociable. The bottle reflects the contents well, I think the cork lid is very successful."

I spent a long time thinking about what I could write about the fragrance. The fragrance has been on the market for a while and there are many opinions about it. First of all, I would like to say that I love Memoir Man, but I never knew when to wear it and on what occasions. Yesterday I wore Memoir Man during a long car ride and thought about it. It's actually a selfish fragrance that doesn't bother anyone because it's not loud and doesn't offend. However, you won't notice it completely unless someone is sniffing directly at your neck. Intimately, it sits on the skin and starts with mint and basil. I don't perceive anise so strongly, it's virtually alcohol-free. The sillage is not particularly intrusive. The heart note consists of dazzlingly soft incense. The base is really good, this part of the story is worth waiting for. My favorite part is the drydown, where a wonderful vetiver unfolds. The tobacco is unique with light vanilla, musk and oakmoss. Unfortunately, almost no one notices it. The fragrance is very close to the skin. For me, I perceive the scent as somehow expensive, elegant, very serious...The fragrance lasts about 7 hours on my skin. It is definitely not a blind buy candidate!!!

There was a time when I was addicted to Widian New York and it will always remain in my collection. I have received a few compliments on this fragrance from people who have no connection to perfume. It's a fragrance that works anytime, anywhere - a daily fragrance! When I don't know what to wear, I automatically reach for Widian because it's so pleasing.

The fragrance starts citrusy with a nice mandarin. The beginning seems a bit too mainstream to me (too simple), but it gets cooler in the opening! After a while, it becomes nice and powdery-sweet, and the caramel note comes into play. The rose gives the whole thing a slightly more grown-up note. The dry down with tobacco, tonka bean and vanilla is really successful - the party in New York can go on until 5am. A masterpiece that works everywhere and is a good companion for all occasions.

As for the packaging and bottle, we don't need to talk about it - it's high quality, a clear 9.5 out of 10!

It's a surprise for the year 2023: A designer with niche sounds, it doesn't always have to be expensive. With Boss, I couldn't get excited about the Boss Bottled, but here everything is different. The fragrance is resinous, dark, deep - a beautiful incense note that becomes creamy and fresh as it progresses. This fragrance immediately gives me Dior Sauvage Elixir vibes, only much smokier with character. To me, the fragrance smells much more expensive than it costs.
