Defying the winter, the daffodil pushes up its flower bud. It opens and immediately a green-yellow veil of fragrance covers the still sleeping garden, which dreams of the coming year's flowers in pastel colors. A fine, sunny yellow honey mist warms the still cool ground, which slowly awakens to new life. Every breath beckons spring. Every breath awakens the anticipation of what is to come.
