Annette Neuffer has two great passions: music and perfumery. While she impresses in the jazz world with her warm alto voice and flugelhorn, the self-taught perfumer founded a label in 2014 that specialises entirely in natural ingredients. Her fragrances, known for their originality and complexity, have been recognised worldwide.

One of her best-known fragrances is ‘Avicenna’, a powerful, spicy oriental rose variation. The top note combines the spicy character of cinnamon, black pepper and ginger with the freshness of Murcott mandarin, petitgrain, saffron, cardamom and bergamot. At the heart, an opulent floral composition of Egyptian jasmine, Bulgarian rose, elemi resin, Moroccan and Tunisian orange blossom and Persian, Moroccan and Turkish rose unfolds, rounded off with tuberose, broom and frankincense. The base lends the fragrance a warm depth with notes of Indian sandalwood, opoponax, beeswax, bourbon vanilla, labdanum and Siamese benzoin. This complexity and the interplay of contrasting nuances are typical of Annette Neuffer's style.

Neuffer only uses rare and high-quality raw materials for her perfumes, which she selects with great care and processes in a lengthy artisanal process. Sustainability and ethical sourcing are key principles: The label's fragrances are free from synthetic ingredients and are not tested on animals.

Since founding her company, she has consciously focussed on exclusive small-scale productions. Instead of relying on advertising or influencer marketing, she trusts in the high quality of her perfumes and the word-of-mouth recommendations of satisfied customers.
