Fresh, citrusy fragrance
The warmer it gets outside, the fresher my daily companion becomes. It's spring at the moment, so I'm using Club de Nuit Sillage Eau de Parfum.
Sprayed on freshly in the morning after showering, a very strong lemon scent unfolds. At first, you might think you've sprayed too much. However, this initial power wears off after about 5 minutes.
The fragrance gives me a wonderful, energetic start to the day, especially when the sun is already shining outside. The fragrance then becomes permanently softer and rounder and the citrus recedes a little and the musk/ambroxan combination slowly pushes its way in between. Fortunately, I don't notice iris at all. I can't stand powdery fragrances. I don't really notice rose either.
I still notice the scent from midday onwards, but not as strongly. I.e.: For me, the fragrance comes across well for about 6 hours - after that it diminishes noticeably and the sillage is no longer very strong, especially on the skin. That's why I often spray Club de Nuit Sillage Eau de Parfum on my clothes, as it lasts better there - at least for me - I work in an office. I also have the feeling that the fragrance retains the citrus note, which I like, longer on clothing. On the skin, it disappears relatively quickly and becomes creamy.
After about 8.9 hours, I can still smell the fragrance, but not as strongly. I therefore rate the longevity/sillage as quite ok, but it's not a monster.
The bottle reflects like the James Webb space telescope and is extremely heavy. I don't find the atomizer very pleasant - I feel like I'm shooting myself with a water pistol.
I paid about 35,- for 100ml and therefore rate the price/performance ratio as very good. Of course, it's not an incredibly spectacular fragrance: simple, straightforward, fresh. For a working day in the office or even in your free time, as soon as the thermometer rises above 15°, I find it super suitable.
I don't care if it resembles or even imitates another fragrance - for the price, it's an absolutely solid fragrance that I like.
