Inharmonious for me
I think this "Monk | Art of Scent Swiss Perfumes" is not (yet) at peace with himself regarding his decision to live in a monastery. I experience this fragrance as inharmonious.
The start with synthetics, turpentine and rubber puts me off at first. Then, quite quickly, slightly coked oud comes around the corner. It seems to me that someone is grumbling to themselves and every now and then - metaphorically speaking - a puff of smoke rises from the nostrils.
This is followed after a while by a cream with floral and slightly fruity-sweet (carrot seed) notes, which is friendly and pleasant and puts a smile on my monk's face. Now he seems reconciled to his existence. Is it a delicious dessert from the monastery kitchen or is it the beautifully fragrant garden?
I can't get these two scent versions together and therefore find it inharmonious.
I can't make out vetiver, it might be lost at the start.
