Playing Hide & Seek with Performance…
I’m either nose-blind to this, or the performance is really poor. It doesn’t last nor does it project on me. I really have to press my nose to wherever I’d have sprayed it to detect the scent. I’ll put it down to being anosmic because this carries such a hefty pricetag I refuse to believe they’d have overlooked performance. Also opens super alcoholic which bothers me. The perfume itself is a pure vanilla along the lines of Vaniglia, Vanille Absolu. Very fluffy and soft, but also sheer? It’s like the smell of icing sugar in the air, rather than of vanilla icing. If you’re after something subtle and soft then this is the right perfume, but I expected better longevity. Nice presentation and beautiful scent but the performance let me down.
