Addictive spicy amber fragrance
I visited the Astier de Villate shop here in Paris a couples of months ago. My objective was to test this potion that a couple of people had been raving about in my circle.
The 1st time I sprayed this scent, my eyes literally rolled in the back of my head due the beauty of the scent. I am not kidding. This scent is natural smelling. The quality of the spices is undeniable: cinnamon, cloves and I guess perhaps cardamon. It is sweet but not too much. This fragrance is not cloying at all. It is slightly herbal but nothing bothering. It was love at 1st sniff and I bought a bottle on the spot which I never do.
It is said that Dominique created this scent from an old medicinal amber recipe that dated back to the 14th century.
This scent feels so natural and soothing at the same time. The longevity and sillage are actual pretty good
For me, if you are after quality (and not beast mode) this is one of the best Amber scents out there.
I bought a 30ml bought. I regret not going for a bigger format as I have already made a big dent in my bottle
