The name of this incredible fragrance takes inspiration from these verses of the work "The Tempest": Fathoms are in fact a unit of measurement designed to indicate the meters of depth of the sea depths.
Here we have a green, fresh, flowery perfume, but also with earthy and woody notes, to indicate the contrast between the surface of the sea and its deepest and darkest part, in an incredibly perfect correspondence with what our being is: light in surface, but dense and deep inside.
It is impossible to explain a Beaufort through notes, here talking about sensations is fundamental.
This fragrance is a marvel, truly, magnetic for me.
The work that represents it for me is Waterhouse's “Miranda, the Tempest”, a rough, strong, unstoppable sea, as our emotions very often are.
