Japanese Floral Detergent

It really smells like a Japanese floral detergent that I like washing my bedsheets with because I like to feel the scent when I sleep. As a perfume, though, with that price tag, not sure how revolutionary or amazing this is. It's cute, I can see some teenager, myself as a teeny bopper, loving this, nothing wrong with that. But seriously, why so expensive? After trying so many interpretations of a sweet Turkish rose at all price points, I don't quite see the point of this. Just as an example off the top of my head, for anyone who is tempted by this, why not try Chloe or When a Woman Falls in Love (at a fraction of the price of Delina, and much better blended with more interesting facets)?

Sweet pink sparkles

Opens with an effervescent pear and lychee blast before subduing into a blend of transparent notes composed of watercolor rose and delicate peony. The heart is by far my favorite part of the fragrance — it’s light and aquatic and unexpectedly fresh. The dry down is a pleasant but uninspired woody musk with fruity floral undertones.

This isn’t a beast mode scent, but projection and sillage are on the higher end of moderate/lower end of strong; people around you will know you’re wearing it. Longevity is around 8-9 hours on my skin.

It’s lovely, but in the end, it’s just a little too much for my tastes: a little too fruity, a little too sweet, bordering on cloying. Which is perhaps a verdict to be expected from someone whose primary goal in life is to smell like a witch in the woods, but even forest crones like to get their sparkling pink on now and again and I’ll enjoy using the rest of my sample even if this isn't full bottle worthy for me.

No one is going to be hurt...

It's not a surprising scent, not the most original, but I am not gonna lying, it's nice.
You can't miss the lychee opening and it goes well with the floral heart notes. Talking about flowers... Even if the roses are here, peonies are also very present.
No one is going to be hurt or annoyed and most people will like it.
A nice perfume for those days when you don't know what to wear.

Edit : after 2 days using it from a sampler, I am seriously considering buying a bottle. It might not be the most original scent I have ever smelt, but it's a very nice one and it has a very good longevity all day without being annoying.

Delicate and strong at the same time

Delina La Rosee is a young and fresh rose, after a rainy day, still with drops on its petals.
Fresh rose petals, slightly sparkling but also with sweet variations (thanks to the play between litchi and pear), which is refreshing, a perfect portrait of spring, very usable in the warmer seasons.
I may be biased (as we have understood Quentin Bisch is my favorite nose), but it is truly a splendid fragrance, apparently naive but which in reality conceals a very strong personality.
In particular, for those who love roses like me, it will represent a sublime olfactory portrait.
Beautiful.

Tasty Fruits with Sweet Florals. A more airy alternative to Delina

This is a very airy fragrance and which I think is mainly due to the strong Lychee top note. It’s very inoffensive and clean smelling. I love the creamy woody base and think it compliments the floral and fruity middle/top notes so well. This would be safe for all seasons, especially warm weather. Overall, this is a wonderful and safe freshy choice suited to pretty much any occasion.
