12 on the Beaufort scale
Pity the fool who tries this one expecting a delicate white floral bouquet. There may be a pretty white lily to be found, but it is placed right in between a strongly contrasting top and bottom.

Fathom V opens with what is best described as a hurricane. Greens, soil, hairspray and florals blown at you with overwhelming force, as cold and uninviting as a winter storm. The white lily stands fierce. Its pollen-rich aspect is boosted by cumin and other dark spices.

But after the storm comes a calm. Eventually things unfold into a comfortable mossy scent with hints of woods and spice. It is still chilly cold and green here, but that frostbite edge of the opening is gone. The lily has died quietly, but the spices survived.

Quite a challenging scent, really, due to its overwhelming opening. Both the photorealistic lily and the use of cumin came as a nice bonus. If you are in for a wild ride into the deep dark greens, give this a try. Do not come here for the white florals.

Scent of a flower shop on a rainy day
Phenomenal green fragrance. Scent of a flower shop, where stems, leaves, vines had been cut to be arranged into bouquets by the florist. It is a very humid fragrance, that immediately creates atmosphere of jungle late morning- temperature rising with the sun, and dew evaporates from big meaty leaves of the vines and lianas. This is absolutely beautiful on a hot summer day. Unisex.

A menacing lake
A menacing lake, green lilies, dangerous sirens baring their teeth and drawing you into the depths of the water. It is rare to find a scent that reminds you of a lake or a pond. In addition, the advantage of Fathom V is its coolness, lack of sweet flowers, a great fragrance for the summer, although chosen more often by women.
It may be associated with a flower shop, but the molecules in the background present from the begining and filling the base have more mineral overtones, they are quite sharp and dominant.

Not as scary as you would think
Having had a 10ml of Tonnerre, and seeing the reviews, I expected this to be scary and unwearable but it is not. It smells very natural, like lush green garden after rain, elements of florals, earthiness and massive doses of green. I like it and this will be a contender for a FB. Fans of more traditional green scents will enjoy this one for sure.

Green juice
One of the few fragrances that is out of the line of this perfume house.
I think that for avoid being pigeonholed they sometimes do these things, but it doesn't make sense. What Beaufort does well, better than anyone before, is the scent of war and darkness. This dedication to flowers for me is an exercise in which they get into territories that have nothing to do.
This perfume is that, mostly white flowers, although at first it would highlight the smell of lilacs. And over time the verdure to sap or meadow grass extract eats it all up, gaining ground from the rest.
Nuances we can give it if someone wants, but I will define with broad features and those would be, basically: enormous green over white flowers with a base of vetiver, amber and probably patchouli.

Performance wise, for what this house has, this looks like a mild "juice".
It projects a little at first but falls off right away. In my skin it might last a few more hours, maybe 6? ...but to the good connoisseurs and Beaufort fans I imagine it is as disappointing in that regard as it is to me.

Extremely aquatic, with tons of heavy white flowers. Drowning in waterlillies.

As a concept, this is miraculous - evokes walking into a flower store selling funeral wreaths. As a perfume? Go light or choke on lilies.

A very unique and complex fresh green-earthy Spring fragrance, with contrasting spicy and green floral notes. The salt is an added bonus.

Nice melancholic green damp earthy floral fragance, often associated to cemetery smell. It reminds me more of a flower shop. Just beautiful
