Violet in a moss
One year has passed and Aldi is again serving his Bellmira fragrances on time for Christmas. This is always a kind of wonder bag, because each edition resembles other great models. In 2017 the vials smelled of Olympea and in 2018 of Lady Million.
Yesterday I rushed in at Aldi because of other things and suddenly slowed down. There was such a great smell in the air. But it didn't come from the corner, where else the scents are, but from a separate stand. A young woman had just tried the One 4 here and attracted her sexual comrades like the moths attracted the light. That was something completely different than the scents of the previous years, where there are better relatives than those of Aldi.
But now to the inconspicuous scent from the bottle. Practical and simple, it is a tin can instead of a cardboard box, in which you can store scattered parts and the like during the summer after Christmas. Anyway, that's what I do. But for the price of 4.99 Euro I don't expect a lead crystal bottle.
Quickly a sprayer on the skin and I was blown away. The beginning a little citric with a hint of apricot and peach. And then some powdery violet. The fruit went and the violet stayed. In addition there were Heliotrop, Ylang Ylang ( but only tender ) and a little flower garden in summer. Rounded off and perfect for me. Then the violet still wouldn't go. But the other scents were getting weaker. But now amber, sandalwood and musk were added. With the previous fragrances a harmonious, slightly powdery and elegant thing. Shelf life around five hours.
Memories came up and then I also had the big relative back in my head. This is a Soir de Paris very similar fragrance. But the new perfume, not the old one from 1928, was the inspiration.
If you are looking for an elegant fragrance that stands out without falling out of the frame, you are well served. It always fits, but more to classic clothes and not to the disco. Portable all year round. Well, not necessarily at 40 degrees in the shade. For the price a very good fragrance
