criminally overlooked

At the moment, I am rearranging my bottles with heavy equipment.

This turns out to be quite a "grind," as we say here in the Ruhr area.

However, this organizational fit has its advantages, as I discover many forgotten - or also overlooked - items.
I stumbled upon One 4 him - still unopened.
I can't even remember buying it.

Curious, I sprayed it, and I was pleasantly surprised.

A fresh breeze greets me, supported by woodiness.
Yet the scent remains transparent and does not become overly ambitious in its masculinity.
A resemblance to One Million is undeniable, but in a lighter - not thinner - formulation.
Well suited for warmer temperatures, if not better.

Highly recommended for sporty, modern gentlemen.

One Million Cent

So I’ll keep it short today. This perfume is a good copy of One Million. The scent progression is almost identical. The longevity and the sillage are just a bit weaker. Because the scent cloud isn’t as intense as the original, I actually prefer the copy over the original.

Good Value for Money

I bought One4Him at Aldi about one or two years ago. I would have liked to get One2Be as well, but I decided to only take one back then, and since then I haven't seen it at Aldi again. If you do some online research, you can see that Aldi seems to run this promotion in the first week of December. The price is top at 5 euros (if I remember correctly).

The bottle is nothing special. There is also a cylindrical box made of aluminum or tin.

The scent is very pleasant, fresh, somewhat reminiscent of a fresh men's deodorant or shower gel. I hardly believe there are people who hate this fragrance direction.

I can't make a comparison because I don't have Dior's Sauvage. But if it's similar, just a bit more intense, that would be a point for my wish list.

The scent is not strong or overpowering from the start, but rather comes across as weak on the skin. However, it lasts a long time, and you can still smell it well on the skin after 6-8 hours. So you can say, good longevity, moderate sillage.

For this price, definitely a no-brainer. It's definitely one to have in the collection.

A Solid Invictus Clone

With the "One 4 Him | Bellmira," I once found a fairly solid alternative to the Invictus Eau de Toilette at Aldi Süd. The longevity on my skin is around 6 hours. I would describe the sillage as decent, as my coworker mentioned the scent positively.

The top note starts off very maritime, refreshing, alcohol-synthetic, aquatic, and reminiscent of shower gel. Grapefruit joins in, along with a lovely aroma of olive blossoms. The heart note then becomes a bit more floral with jasmine flowers and a green note that somewhat resembles bay leaves. The base offers an indefinable combination of green, earthy, sweet, and woody notes. Overall, I find this quite synthetic.

I am pretty sure that I bought the One 4 Him for a price in the low double-digit euro range. To my surprise, it now costs 3 to 4 times more.

Version 2024: Sport Freshness in 2004

The color scheme of the box for the 2024 version initially reminds me of Sauvage, but it is quite different from that.
Instead, there is a spicy freshness that recalls "any" random sport fragrance from the late 90s. Just like every sports locker room smelled in the early 2000s.
Behind the unremarkable freshness with subtle spiciness, a hint of musk shines through unobtrusively.
It ranks among 1000 drugstore and supermarket fragrances, and at least on average.
Surely there is one fragrance that it resembles particularly. However, since sport fragrances have never been my thing, I cannot name one.
Given that it is positioned at the absolute lower end of the price scale with at least average quality, I can recommend it as a sport and leisure fragrance to anyone who enjoys this kind of freshness. Many sport freshies from designer brands rarely do it better at 10-20 times the price.
Sillage is somewhat below average, but for the price range, it is more than sufficient.

All in all, a clear price/performance recommendation, even if it does not match my personal taste.
