Burnt Cotton Candy Or Melted Marshmallows On The Campfire
Incredibly, when this fragrance dries on the skin it looks quite similar to Noble Wood by S.T. Dupont which I also had the opportunity to try it for several days along with its sister Royal Amber and they have almost the same chords, although I like the latter more. Now, it is true that the top notes evoke woods in a bonfire with burnt cotton candy or melted marshmallows on the campfire, the incense base (it is more frankincense of frankincense of olibanum that is not declared on the page, softer), vanilla, balsamic amber, are maintained during the life cycle, the oud here is somewhat shy with medicinal tinge but is friendly and non-intrusive-aggressive (kills resin fungus), so this is ideal personal enjoyment for a winter season, rainy season in which it is doing quite cold to warm up with its aroma with a wool bag, a good black coffee and a good book, or simply in this pandemic enjoy it with work at home in front of the laptop. For the price it is excellent to experiment and break down the notes, obviously do not expect the super quality but believe me it is really good for its cost, and not other aguachirris that are on the market.

This is the opening to the house of Lattafa, to the Oriental world, and to go little by little raising the level, developing other nuances on the sense of smell.

Good Find.
Aroma: 8 (reminds me of other Orientals).

Bargain-Super Leather Frag
I tell people that of my top ten favorite scents (of 100), one is $7 per ml, and the other is 15 cents per ml. This is the latter. Complicated notes for the price also. Starts delicious and only gets better all the way through dry down. If you like or love leather, this is a must. As we say in Boston, this is a Wicked Bahgin!!!

Big Bad Oud
Oud is a note that seems to be just about everywhere these days and yet B4 2012 I swear I never saw or smelled the damn thing. This fragrance by Raghba has that distinctive note inside the Fragrance called Wood Intense (2014) and it's very prominent throughout the entire composition. The nice thing about it is that the note itself seems to be of a high quality because I have many other fragrances with Oud supposedly included but I'm not sure just how much or if it really IS Oud. I wouldn't doubt it because many fragrance houses say one thing but they're not always so truthful. I hate to say that but trust me it's the truth. Anywho Raghba Wood Intense is an Eau de Parfums and yes it certainly behaves like one finally. I can't tell you how many modern EDP'S out there project and last just like an Eau de Cologne, minus the citrus! This is further proof that you can NOT always trust what's inside or how it's made. That being said the fragrance is quite linear and with just a couple of sprays, no more than four, you're good for the entire day and most of the night. You know it's a fairly quality fragrance because, alas, it's discontinued! Someone please tell me why! :)

A nuclear bomb of sweet and smoked wood
If you look at his notes, there are notes like: Candy, licorice, sugar, vanilla etc ... that can make us believe that we are now a gourmand perfume of current style and we may think that it is a sweet, rich and appetizing fragrance, as it can not be further from reality, because it is a perfume of wood and incense, intense, powerful and with the expansive wave of an authentic time bomb. Although that does not mean it is not rich or appetizing, because for me it is, but not in the style of what your notes could reflect, but rather in a Gothic style, dark and dense, that you can almost chew.

The beginning is an explosion of woods, rough and synthetic a bit, but the moment the fragrance settles, in a few minutes, it becomes so natural, that I close my eyes and see the following image: a dark night of thunderclouds next to a clearing, in a leafy forest, a gathering of friends around a fire, and an incipient rain that drowns the flames. That's how it smells to me, a real smoking fire, extinguished with water, for me, so natural, that my mother came to ask me, if I had made a bonfire, that my clothes smelled of smoke. Then the oud begins to emerge strongly along with the sweet notes, but not to make the fragrance very sweet, no, rather it is, to give it a hint of sweetness and make the woods and the oud appear like a cream, smoked and spicy, similar to a bitter and toasted caramel. This part of the perfume I love, it is opulent and dense, you can almost see it in the air. The final drying I love, it maintains a fragrance like toasted caramel, which becomes warm, vibrant and musky, with a touch of vanilla and amber very subtle.

Although in my description it seems that I could recommend the perfume to anyone, it is not, I would not recommend this perfume to anyone without knowing their tastes in advance, it is a complicated perfume, intense and with a lot of personality, only for people who enjoy the wood, the incense and the intense perfumes.

The duration is superlative, with an incredible wake, I was smelling it for more than 12 hours. I applied it to me at around 7:00 p.m. and when I got up at about 7:00 a.m. in the morning, I could still smell it without difficulty, then I took a shower and could not check how far I was able to go, but I must say that, If I got my nose right on my wrist, there were still traces after the shower. It is one of those few perfumes, that, every time, you are able to smell yourself, a marvel.

Perfume for cold climates and for the night, although if I am sincere, when I like a perfume, I wear it when I want, be it summer, autumn, winter, day or night hehehehe I am so weird.

Sorry for my bad english.

Loving This Scent
Purchased this at 11am from Burlington for about $20. Woke up at 4am (on mistake) decided to open the packaging and spray it. Made an account just to leave this review.

Anyone who rates this anything less than 9 out of 10 needs their olfactory senses checked. This may be my new signature scent.

It smells like incense at a Catholic church but with sweeter/sugary undertones.

Oud with licorice and caramel leads to a coffee-like accord. Drydown is bitter, fragmented. Passable, but there are better Lattafa ouds.

Not as strong as other reviews say very nice still but certainly no beast. I do get a headache from this so maybe go easy with the sprays

Burned sugar. Sweet candy like sugar fragrance, with smoke and woody nuances. Not complex, was expecting a bit more quality in the blend

Smoky, woody, adequate sweetness. Never too much of anything. Not harsh. Very harmonious fragrance.

Reformulated? Only get extremely strong (w)oudh. Dry cedar & Musty Oud on top, tad of incense + guaiac. Beast, but too sharp & no sweetness.

Really long lasting and seems to be somewhat divisive. The wife didn't like it "Too smoky". It is very smoky like you've been around a camp fire.

Fire crackles. Smoke curls through dark, maple-y woods. Rich, wintery, and masculine.
