Unbeatable price

Benetton hot is a steal, a fragrance doesn't have to be expensive to be good. It is similar to Chanel Allure. If you find Allure edt too weak, go for this one. Longevity and sillage is awesome. Beautiful scent like soft, warm cream. It's not something I can't live without still I'm very happy to have it.

Unexpected Reunion

You, my dear Hot, I had as a teenager. In my melancholic/funny and sometimes crazy storm-and-stress phase, you were my companion. How proud I was to own you! You with your funny bottle, which admittedly does look a bit like a toy, but back then, in my teenage room, you were THE object of my desire. What was inside that cute, funny bottle also stuck in my mind, and just as I registered here, I kept thinking about you... I could still remember your scent perfectly... but that I would ever see you again, let alone smell you, I never expected...

Now, it happened, as they say, just before Christmas that my mother (her again ;-) casually told me that her regular discount store had a special display with fragrances; whether I knew "Hot" by Benetton, the bottle seemed so familiar to her...

Imagine a needle being dragged across a vinyl record; "Squeeeak," that sound echoed through my head! Did she say?! And then she adds: I was going shopping anyway today, you can come along and take a look! And I looked, and it was him, but now came the best part: 100 ml for €7.99! Believe me, despite it being two weeks before Christmas, I could already hear the bells ringing for me!

Of course, I had to test it at home immediately, and naturally, this resulted in a flashback par excellence. (Yes, yes, I'm finally getting to the essence, the WONDERFUL scent!; please bear with me, despite almost a year on Parfumo, I still can't break down scents into their components as beautifully as others do.)

From the top note, I smell nothing at all; it seems to me that this perfume immediately transitions into the heart and base notes. I won't waste time reading or typing the notes listed above, as I perceive it differently anyway.

I perceive a woody-vanilla, very subtly fruity, slightly peppery (!) cream note! I had to think of "Hot" so often during the cream scent thread in the forum, and now I finally dare to share this ridiculously cheap insider tip!

It is one of the most sensual scents I know; I dare say that if one didn't mention it, many would assume something more luxurious and expensive under their nose. This is also supported by the wonderfully subtle, yet noticeable sillage and the more than respectable longevity of about 5-6 hours.

I must repeat myself, ladies, I'm writing specifically to the women because this is really nothing for the gentlemen; if you're looking for a sexy luxury cream at a bargain price... Voila!

Addendum 01.07.14: Discovered last week: Yes, it's true Precious, Hot has a scent sister, namely indeed "Allure"! I could hardly believe it myself, but the similarity is undeniable.
