Bill Blass Classic Bill Blass 2006

A green and outgoing floral, very bubbly, but not dramatic (with decent staying-power). Hyacinths, lily of the valley, galbanum. No grand entrance, no seduction scene. Just a delicious cocktail of flowers, sparkling, breezy and friendly like the Mediterranean on a calm summer day. It was on sale at Harrod's for only 13 Pounds (including two matching body-products in a gift-set). Recommended!

This fragrance has a clean & clear impression, which I like quite well. The top is outstanding - I wish the entire wear was like this. The white floral heart is a bit too much for my taste and induces a head-ache - unfortunately, white florals frequently do so for me. Better as it settles but still a scrubber due to my sensitivity to white florals.

Overall, this is a pleasant but unremarkable fragrance. It's consistent with almost anything in the Ellen Tracy line-up - if tested blind, I would have assumed a Ellen Tracy flanker. Over-priced for the quality, imo.

WOW! I must say it's beautiful! It's the perfect mix of lily of the valley, jasmine and hyacinth. Complimented with warm and sensual sandalwood and musk notes. I love it. So much so, I am getting a second bottle just in case they raise the price or it gets harder to find.

Highly recommended! I can't stop sniffing my wrists when I wear this and people -constantly- ask me what I am wearing.....Wonderful!

For me, one of those fragrances that makes me close my eyes and completely focus on the scent experience....wonderful! It comes softly, but not innocently and reservedly; rather, it carries a certain amount of self-confidence, which it has certainly earned with this aroma! I can perceive the fruity notes (mandarin and neroli) that gently envelop the skin....my thoughts drift towards summer, warmth, a dry beautiful sunny landscape, perhaps Umbria in July....Bill Blass almost floats on my skin, it doesn’t shout "here" loudly but is very subtle, yet not fleeting. I can clearly detect the blend of jasmine and a hint of lily of the valley; I would love to catch the white hyacinth, but unfortunately, I can't.....he is never intrusive, the good Bill, but also never so weak that you can't sniff him out....the heart note accompanies me for quite a long time and envelops me, and I completely forget that the nasty gray dark winter is raging outside, which I despise so much! This Bill is my summer messenger, no matter when and where....when I let him touch my skin, I want to feel summer! The base becomes calmer, cozier...I love musk and sandalwood in combination, and here the balance is wonderfully achieved. This scent charmer works anytime, in the office, while traveling, in the museum, and even at the beach.....I love my Bill Blass because he brings sunshine and a summery feeling to my skin and mind, as soon as I smell him, I feel good! Thank you, Bill, for this scent that is anything but "bland"....

Clean, lovely, innocent, and something for very delicate fairies. I find it smells exceptionally pleasant, not at all overpowering, and my first association was: A very slight resemblance to the "old" Chloe, but it doesn't have the overwhelming presence that gives me headaches.
Let's see how it develops - the more time passes, the more I like it. Without a doubt, it has something, even though it absolutely does not align with the fragrance direction I usually prefer.
Unfortunately, it's still not my scent. A little later, it started to bother me more.
