Summer is….
*The sound of ice cubes clinking in an ice-cold glass of Rin-Tin-Tonic
*And: “Chan Chan” by Buena Vista Social Club
*The coolness of fresh vanilla ice cream on the tongue, as it can only be felt in blazing heat and dust-dry summer air
*And: “Fresh” by Cool & The Gang
*The evening chirping of crickets in tall grass (local grasshoppers work too!)
*And: “Samba Pa Ti” by Santana
*The deep hum of an old ceiling fan battling the scorching heat
*And: “Sunshine Reggae” by Laid Black
Feeling like summer? (Me too!)
Then spray on “Eau de Paradis” by Biotherm and off we go. This little potion is “Sunshine Reggae” and cicada chirping and ice cube sounds DE LUXE! Delicious, mouthwatering, and truly paradisiacal.
For me, the bitterness of pomegranate and the sweetness of raspberry combine into an irresistible combo that turns lemon into an oversized, bursting pink grapefruit. The delicate flowers give the fragrance a wonderful sweetness, without overshadowing the fruity notes. A well-measured dash of musk perfectly rounds it off and makes “Eau de Paradis” smell just a little bit like gentle care.
To my surprise, the summer cocktail lasts very well on me! It actually lasts all day (unlike “Eau Vitaminée”). The scent is not overpowering, but in summer, you also don’t want to push around any intrusive scent clouds. In combination with the matching care line, it should be an absolute summer-of-your-life hit!
