Never Spring in German April

Looking out of the window, you can currently get the impression that the weather has once again decided to seamlessly transition from winter to midsummer with a deluge period. That's fine by me, at least all the pollen is washed away properly. There are only the freshies left in the tester kit, so today I'm tackling "Never Spring", which doesn't necessarily have the right olfactory properties, but at least has the right name.

First confusion - what does this very tangy, slightly green and still very sour orange have to do with spring? I briefly check the fruit in my breakfast cereal to make sure I haven't accidentally injected myself with tropical fruit. I imagine I smell grapefruit or green kiwi or similar sour fruit and am reminded of Be Delicious Eau de Parfum from more than two decades ago. A look at the pyramid - green apple, well, it fits. But then really very nasty sour Granny Smith. The kind that makes you grimace when you bite into it.

After 20-30 minutes, the green multivitamin deacidifies a little, and the holy trinity of white body lotion (something white-flowered/musky/woody) joins in. Could do with a bit more for my taste, I also don't recognize jasmine in particular...

The comparison to the Light Blue family is very close, I also feel reminded of some Acqua di Parma. A sparkling summer fragrance that remains wonderfully unsweet and fresh and has no hint of cleaning agent.

H/S is really weak (almost gone after 2 hours). Doesn't knock my socks off though, a certain arbitrariness and in my opinion not worth the proud price (50ml at 125€).
