In the Christmas bakery...
Björk&Berries sample kit - here we go! I decided to test ALL the samples, even the ones that don't fit into my white-green-clean prey scheme. One of these candidates is Synchrony, cinnamon and sugar go great with Kanelbullar (cinnamon buns) but beyond pancakes and Christmas I don't really need either.
Moment of truth: oh yes, cinnamon. Warm and Christmassy. Kind of cozy and totally inappropriate for April. I don't notice ginger. It makes me think of Christmas marrow, rum pot (plummy!) and scented candles. A little wood and incense sticks (does anyone still know those incense burners from the Erzgebirge? just like that, if it's not "actively" smoking).
Overall, Synchrony is spicy, velvety and not unpleasant. It remains beautifully unsweet even on my strange skin, although, as I said, that's not my scent at all. I think it also works well on men who like this scent and can do without the strong aftershave vibes. Nice fragrance, not mine and difficult to imagine beyond the dark season.
I don't have to say much about the purist apothecary bottles - they fit the brand well, the fragrance is available in 50 and 100ml. The price is rather sporty (50ml 125€ OVP) ...
