I find it hard to grasp you...
The Pipe Bomb is one of those fragrances that I find brutally difficult to categorize. Somehow it smells quite pleasant but also different and rather synthetic. The perfume has varying intensities, sometimes more and sometimes less, but most of the time it is quite close to the skin. The longevity on my skin is about 10 hours with a rather weak sillage.
Since I find it hard to describe and grasp the scent, I also struggle with identifying a top, heart, or base note. It predominantly smells synthetic, metallic, fresh, sweet, oriental-spicy, resinous, smoky, and somewhat powdery. I primarily detect metal, amber, benzoin, incense, styrax, myrrh, vanilla, cedarwood, and opoponax.
I believe that the Pipe Bomb is a fragrance that could have different effects on many people. A character scent? Just like people have different personalities? Who knows...
