First Bloom of Spring
Update 1/18/25: I've recently re-sampled this fragrance and I have to say that I was very wrong. My sense of smell has matured greatly since my last review and I am better able to detect different notes now. This is a garden party on warm spring day. The flowers just bloomed today, they are fragrant and attracting buzzing bees. You are hanging with your friend on a blanket drinking lemonade. This is a fresh white floral fragrance that is almost bubblegum indolic. The citrus that adds some aromatic qualities and keeps it from getting heavy.
A 10ml will cost $65 and a 50ml costs $185. This is worth it to me and its getting put onto my wishlist.
Old Review: Out of all the Blocki fragrances, I would say this is the one I like the least. Not to say it is bad, but if you have to rate all of them, someone has to be on the bottom. I was surprised that they market this as a floral because I mostly got citrus, the bergamot and grapefruit really overpower. As the citrus started to dry off, I did get some of the violet but still that citrus dominated. For the dry down, I got that musk but none of the warmth I tend to associate with amber. I will say the projection is good and it lasted on my skin for at least 5 hours.
