Aromatic patchouli for an urban hippie

The Blood Concept B is the most wearable out of four scents in this collection but it is also the least unusual. I do like the composition. It is centered on the patchouli note with aromatic and fruity accords. It kind of reminds me of a modern and urban hippie. The scent is not entirely natural but it has the earthy feeling and strong connection to the nature.

The scent is fruity at first. I actually smell nice cherry note here (very natural and not sugary synthetic). But the scent transforms quickly into aromatic patchouli. The patchouli note is done well here. It is prominent but not a harsh one. There is also slight sweetness from the fruits in the heart notes, which adds another nice layer to the fragrance. The metal note is woven well into the composition and it is not nearly as pronounced as in other blood concept scents. This slight metallic edge is what I perceive as an urban part of this fragrance. The scent stays linear, though the woods become more noticeable in the base.

I like the concept but the lasting power is not that great. As with other Blood Concept scents I find that B has very pleasant sillage.

strange concept strange scent

I tested it ... oh my, i can't stand the metalic note of this brand. It does smell a bit bloody. But why would someone enjoys smelling like blood? Can't understand the concept, and the notes are not my cup of tea for sure.

Bloody dark cherry released ahead of its time and thus not appreciated

I had the immense luck to get a full unopened sealed package of Blood Concept B. It exceeded all my expectations - the packaging, the bottle, the scent...

This is dark cherry, deep, rich, bitter, earthy, and metallic. Moody, spicy, alluring. There isn't anything like it.

I am in awe, I will treasure my bottle.

Patchouli isn't heavy, but adds this pleasant earthiness and complexity to the fragrance. I don't really smell any apple, nor did I want to smell apples here :D

6.4/10 is absolutely uncalled for!!! Looks like people couldn't handle avant-garde scents back then, just like they cannot handle them now... Ugh. Like, it's called "Blood Concept", of course it's gonna smell bloody!! It's in the name, don't be daft.

Who knew that apple and sour cherry could work this good together?

They aren't kicking each other in contrast, nope! They're building an amazing bridge, sour but delicious, until it comes an explosion of pomegranate. It's slightly metallic, so I can see why it's called "blood concept", even tho there is no blood to be found. I get the patchouli too, and I'm always scared when i see patchouli - I could love or hate the scent, it depends by how that note work. Luckily enough, here does what it has to do. A very good, fruity but not fresh, metallic, rich scent. Bravo!

Cherry and patchouli drop by drop

The opening is very good. I can feel the cherry, an acid one like the cherry that we can find in Lost cherry by Tom Ford for example. After that i feel also the pomegranate remembering me a bit of pomegranate noir by jo Malone, mixed with the black tea and on the background a Woody but not too intense vibe. Problems begins during the dry down. The intensity Falls down drastically and after half an hour It is no more than a skin scent. The longevity is not bad but not enough for being a parfum. It is weird... When you apply B with the dropper It seems to be a very concéntrate perfume. It is dense and oily but after a while It dissapears like being absorved totally by the skin. I found It for a very good price (18€/40ml) and for this price i find It a very good option. However i have seen It in some perfume shops at 60€ the same bottle and paying that i think It really doenst worth. The smell is unisex and better fornandaily use with cold weather.if you find It for 18€ dont think about It and buy It... It is interesante and nice but if you must Pay mire try before the purchase...
