Muted Green

XL is, as FranFan has already mentioned, a thoroughly green perfume and, compared to the other scents from the Blood Concept brand, quite mass-compatible. Although....
The top note is citrus-dominated and temporarily masks a slightly synthetic note that then slowly makes its way to the surface.
After a short time, XL becomes a spicy green pleasantly synthetic scent. However, those expecting the smell of fresh leaves or juicy grass will be disappointed. The green feels rather muted and slightly creamy. If I didn't see the pyramid, I would have guessed vetiver and sandalwood.
I can't discern much more change towards the base, except that the wood gains a bit of dominance and the green dims even further.
XL reminds me a lot of the very first men's fragrance by Adolfo Dominguez, which doesn’t mean that I would classify it purely as a men's scent. I've never thought much of that.
XL is a fragrance that I would never buy for myself, but if gifted, I would wear it from time to time.
