Pushing the limits
This is the weirdest scent I have ever smelled. It is bizarre and abstract, strange and at times almost repulsive but yet I am drawn to its avant-garde artistry. It is the most unusual out of all four Blood Concept scents for sure. It has the metallic and industrial edge. It smells like nothing in nature. It is like one of those paintings that do not even suppose to reflect something real but more of a reality perceived by a creative artist’s mind.

The first impression is metallic and cold but also a bit fresh. It smells like pool water and shiny stone surface warmed by the sun. It also reminds me of something I would smell in a crazy scientist lab in a science fiction movie. I guess it is this metallic edge that makes it smell so strange. The aldehydes are very light and only appear in the heart notes for me. So it is not a traditional, heavy on aldehydes composition. The scent becomes a bit friendlier as time passes (or perhaps my nose adjusts to it). It becomes strangely fresh, definitely aquatic unisex composition where metallic note is still bizarre but with a pleasant edge. At the same time the scent is not harsh at all but wears gently on my skin. It is artificial but yet it is not a cheap composition. I can smell the artistry and quality in this one. The dry down is the gentlest of all stages. The metallic note is incredibly soft here and the scent becomes much warmer. The sillage is pleasant and the longevity is good.

I normally rate perfumes but I am a bit perplexed with this one. It certainly gets my vote for being interesting and I liked that I had to totally open my mind and get out of my comfort zone for this one. But is it wearable? I honestly do not see myself ever wearing this other than at home for the experience of it. If you are crazy like me about scents and love trying unusual ones, then go a sample of it. But it is definitely not a blind buy material.

Soaked in Blood
A blood-soaked towel lying in a waterlogged area.
In a sterile room of a hospital.
Green halogen light, bare walls.
A dirty kidney dish.
Somewhat lukewarm, oppressive air carrying a lot of moisture.
Chlorine cleaner.
Toilet.

Anyone who watches a lot of autopsies, medical detectives, or all that stuff can now picture it directly. Including background music and dull, cold smoker voices of the respective narrators. Or you work in a hospital, nursing home, or anywhere else where you constantly come into contact with such scenarios.

The scent itself doesn't have much to do with blood, but you can't deny a metallic quality. So, it smells to me like this: when you wash a towel with blood. Blood and water - not a particularly pleasant combination. Especially since the blood is still completely fresh. Additionally, the scent is extremely damp - although it doesn't feel cool at all, but rather very lukewarm. Just disgusting. Kidney dishes bombard my thoughts when I inhale the scent. Strange? It is! On top of that, there's also a chemical cleaning product - toilet flush - again oppressive air that settles heavily in the lungs. The longevity is not particularly bad either!

This scent is simply horrendous. How anyone can or would want to wear something like this is a mystery to me personally.
For a personal scent horror trip, however, it is perfectly suited.

Ouch!
As a bearer of blood type AB, albeit with a negative Rh factor, I feel somewhat obliged to finally engage with this fragrance.

For me, it’s quite a double-edged sword: on one hand, I find it with this extremely citrusy opening beyond any sense of naturalness. The pyramid can be disregarded; no one should take that seriously. Moreover, the associations with sharp citrus cleaners in confrontation with metal are not far-fetched. At times, one might even think they can catch a whiff of Sidolin at the beginning.
Additionally, it reminds me of something from my childhood with lemon, but unfortunately, I can’t quite place it. If I were to assign a color to AB, it would not be lemon yellow but a bold, glaring neon yellow. For many, that’s certainly beyond their pain threshold.

On the other hand, I find the whole thing so quirky that it has its own charm. The theme of cool, inorganic citrus freshness is totally exaggerated and synthetically clean, making it seem almost like a parody. As the esteemed Terra already mentioned, it is indeed wearable. It is - especially on scorching hot days and clear blue skies. Moreover, with its rich sillage and high longevity, it can overshadow quite a bit.
One could also say: not necessarily beautiful, but rare. And at least more original than many mainstream snoozers.

Well, the blood concept doesn’t quite make sense to me. Or does blood type AB stand for clinically clean? Regardless - there are far more trivial fragrances; this one is the much lesser evil.
Actually, the name “NeonSun” or “NeonLemon” would fit better, then accordingly bottled in a neon yellow flacon with edges and lots of steel or chrome, and marketed to the younger, pain-free target audience. I think that could work.

A freshly scrubbed chrome toilet does the trick too
This scent is, on one hand, frighteningly interesting, but on the other, somehow very disappointing.

I love aldehydes and metallic notes, as well as wood, which is always welcome, and as a geologist, I also know how slate and gravel smell (not too bad, just a little note). All these components had initially catapulted AB onto my wish list and secured the top spot on the "to-test list."

Then came the day when I received the sample of Blood AB. I applied it immediately and without waiting - abruptly, I was enveloped in a cloud of freshness and citrus notes, garnished with metal. Expansive, very generous (I had only sprayed once) and somehow very familiar.
After a brief moment of reflection, I realized where it was coming from; I found myself in a freshly cleaned sanitary facility. Metal meets good cleaning product. That’s the interesting part, how a perfumer can extract so much from fragrance materials; if you read the list, you wouldn’t expect to end up on a metal toilet afterward.

Disappointing is the lack of development. Even in the morning when I woke up and my wrist found its resting place on my nose, I was greeted by the same scent from the previous day.

The longevity, however, does not disappoint; even on the mentioned following day, it hadn’t really lost intensity.

Conclusion: Somehow fascinating but ultimately very exhausting and tiring over time. As a room fragrance, it might not be bad. Moreover, you can achieve similar results more easily and a bit cheaper, for example, while cleaning your bathroom.
It has had to give up its place on the wish list.

Not really disgusting, but not beautiful at all
the comments capture the scent well and it is really not necessarily a beautiful fragrance. To me, it smells extremely like a dentist. Surgical steel being shoved into your mouth, steel basins. A lot of steel. The citrus top note transforms and increasingly smells more like a kind of disinfectant.

A scent like Sécrétions Magnifiques is still an olfactory challenge for me, for example. I find the concept somewhat hit, but it is like a tank that destroys everything in its path; it is not bearable for me without torturing and simultaneously fascinating me.

I don't find AB by Blood Concept bad. I actually find it bearable. It is just not a pleasant smell. It bothers me just as little as the smell at the dentist, which I also don't find nice. The metal here smells quite authentically like metal and other than this cleaning product note, there is not much to recognize for me. It is nothing that causes me nausea or anything like that; I just don't find it great.

Of course, AB is absolutely individual, something completely different. However, I can see no beauty in it, nor do I find it "extreme"; it does not represent a boundary experience or anything like that. It is simply not a beautiful fragrance; I absolutely do not want to smell like this.

Highly synthetic citrus scent with a metallic touch and an overdose of radiance - it pushes the pain threshold at times, but still bearable!

Torture in a different way...
The artificial citrus note hits right at the start, very sharp.
Then pure wetness and metal.
Very experimental.

Citrusy - soapy, mineral - sterile transforms into aquatic - stony, ending with a metallic - soft - woody finish.
