Little Gem
And again a Bottega Verde that has positively surprised me. Or better yet: it has turned out to be a little gem.
I can't directly smell the listed fragrance notes most of the time, so I’ll best describe how I have perceived the scent. After spraying, it smells very powdery, in a not unpleasant way. After about half an hour, it transforms into an elegant creamy scent. Delicate, yet clearly noticeable. It would also fit well in a classic context. For a brief moment, after about 2 hours, I actually had the feeling of smelling cocoa, but really just for a short time. After about 4 hours, the vanilla is then clearly present. But never dominating. It simply perfectly supports the delicate creaminess. That’s basically the entire progression. After 7 hours, I have to bring my nose close to my wrist, and after 8 hours, it’s over. However, considering the price and that it’s an EdT, the longevity is very good. I have perceived the scent as very close to the skin the whole time.
Due to its delicacy, it is more of a scent for warmer days, but it can also be worn effortlessly on colder days if one simply wants to show classic elegance.
