Made for Men, But Quickly Forgotten

I got this one in a gift set - a 30ml bottle with a matching shower gel.
Tested it for a while, and honestly, it didn’t leave much of an impression.
The opening gives you a mix of apple and citrusy vibes, clearly aiming for something fresh and playful. But it ends up smelling more like a budget body spray.
As it starts to dry down, some sweetness kicks in probably from the tonka bean but it doesn’t really help. The whole thing feels a bit confused, like a mix of trendy notes that never really click.
At times, it reminded me of certain cleaning products, not exactly the vibe I’m going for when I reach for a fragrance.
The performance isn’t great either. It projects for about an hour before settling into a skin scent, lasting anywhere from 2 to 5 hours. Honestly, that might be a blessing.
In the end, this one just doesn’t deliver.
There are other affordable fragrances out there that are far better put together and simply more enjoyable to wear.

This is fragrance answer to elevator music

This smelled OK for me, projected soft for about 1 hour. The scent, projection and longevity is about as basic and bland as it could be. After about 2-3 hours the scent was completely gone.

Although it smelled just OK for me, I only got negative compliments from my friends, especially girls found this too sharp and annoying.

Bruno Banani - (Not) for Everybody

Made for Men Eau de Toilette by Bruno Banani is an inexpensive drugstore fragrance that is, as expected, very easy to wear and really won't knock anyone's socks off.

Immediately after application, you get a fresh green, citrusy note in your nose. There is also the slight sweetness of green apple. After a while, you can smell a light, floral breeze and the fragrance becomes a little more aquatic. In the base, the fragrance then consists of less strong woods and becomes somewhat powdery and dry. Overall, it reminds me most of a shower gel.

Unfortunately, the longevity is somewhat below average; a short time after spraying it on, the fragrance is only perceptible close to the skin and virtually evaporates after a few hours. I found the sillage to be pleasantly average, but contrary to Bruno Banani's advertising campaign, the character of the perfume is rather restrained and will not cause a particular stir.

Unfortunately, I can't rate the "old" bottle as I only own the new, more "straightforward" one. Although this is a standard product and not really an eye-catcher, it is absolutely fine and sprays well.

I see the perfume's area of application more in leisure and sport, as an everyday fragrance it evaporates a little too quickly and is too shower gel-like for me.

By the way, I would also like to briefly mention here how incredibly stupid I find the slogan "Not for Everybody". Am I the only one who always wonders who came up with it?

Regardless of this: this fragrance is only really a recommendation if you can get it for a really top price, otherwise the price-performance ratio is rather standard. If you like green, fresh and slightly sweet fragrances and you don't mind the longevity, this could well be something for you.

I'll try to be brief. What can you expect for 7,99€? Not much, but that's well done and that's exactly how it is with this scent, it's certainly better than all those La Rive dupes that just every second one seems to wear and that give me headaches with their scratchy chemistry club, it smells better than a bad deodorant or aftershave, but it's certainly not Chanel, Givenchy, Joop, Dior or anything else. But he is independent and I oute myself that I'm actually a fan of this fragrance, it doesn't go down so badly with others and it doesn't smell cheap. It smells like apple, tonka and something indefinably scratchy masculine, everything a tick to chemical, but for the price top made and one can carry without thinking already times.
