loving embrace

The third fragrance by Alison Banton, which hides behind the brand "Brooke & Shoals", also deserves a comment.

"Orange Flower, Amber & Vetiver" - also here she remains true to the three-part name - resembles his two fragrance siblings in its unobtrusiveness, which must not be confused with boredom.
All three fragrances are magically feminine, elegant and extremely appealing as pleasant companions throughout the day.
I find a little of the classic English garden culture in them: they invite you to linger!
They make it easy to discover a hidden door, open it and enjoy the secrets hidden behind it.

This orange blossom in its tenderness is also a revelation for heart and soul; a scent that caresses, lovingly embraces and yet at the same time softly lures; it envelops you in tenderness!
Exactly into this "feel-good notch" also hits the golden fragrance frenzy of Ylang-Ylang which I love so much.
I confess: Ylang-ylang I am ruined! J'adore Ylang-Ylang! I love it!
Here, as a couple with the orange blossom, a wonderful flower aroma develops: And the woman lures forever! Eva walks quietly and unagitated through the blooming garden; the passionate sister Venus has locked her in the pergola this time and hidden the key: this one doesn't fit here!
Even if the mention of Amber suggests another assumption: in "Orange Flower, Amber & Vetiver" amber nuances shimmer only softly in the deep, earthy dark green of a skillfully dosed but nevertheless intense vetiver application!
Nothing is loud here, everything is coordinated as if one were entering a place of harmony, of quiet joy!

I am delighted by all three fragrance creations of this woman and I don't know which one I particularly like.
All three are charming, elegant and you immediately feel the love and devotion that flowed into the respective composition.
A scent of the day, an "ever-goer" of the unusual kind: it is - and not only with this scent - like an encounter with a beloved friend who embraces generously with warmth (but without passion or fire).
The desire to linger in this fragrant embrace for a felt eternity is great!

So here is the moment to thank Heikeso very much for these three special rehearsals.
For months she has been providing me generously with the magical, interesting and sometimes also amazing scent samples.
But this time she gave me an unexpected gift: I was allowed to discover scents that I probably wouldn't have encountered otherwise. And that would have been very, very unfortunate!
She deserves a special hug for that!
